If you are looking for local clients, here are a few suggestions: Many local communities have networking groups that you can join and meet with each month. Also, the local library is also a useful tool. You can look up different companies in your area using their Reference guides.
If you are looking for global clients, here are a few suggestions: Joining a forum is a great Networking tool. Using the same Reference guide from the library you can build contacts around the world.
To truly build a client base, you need one important ingredient. You need to be personable. You need to be able to talk to people, to get the word out. The more people know about you and your organization, the better off your company will be.
It is not what you know...but who you know.
What other suggestions do you have in order to build a client base? |

Some valuable information there Liz.
I would like to say the online world and its marketing does differ to the more traditional approaches of marketing where a "desire" is made to be felt in the client.
With online marketing, typically the client already has the "desire", which is why search engines are such a valuable tool for us. This does mean however that we must ensure the landing page equates with the desire.
This is pertinent here as it goes towards building a strong community of clients.
Giving the clients what they want helps a great deal with the building, and I completely agree with the personable approach, nice one! |
