hi there,
i have phpnuke 7.1 (or whatever the official one is)
but i found that i have been hacked a couple of times when i was using the public version.
what should i be installing / updating / replacing to prevent attacks in the future ?

Hi Hammah,
Sorry to hear about the hacking of your site, but we should be able to get you secure. PHP-Nuke is very popular, and has a huge community - which means that there are people always working to make it more secure.
What was the result of the hack (what did they change/modify)?
A recent hack that I've seen was some sort of admin hack. This was simple to fix, though.
You can check to see if that is what they did to you ...
Go to your admin.php and click on the Edit Admins link - did they add an admin in there? You can also check this via phpmyadmin by looking in the nuke_authors table.
Let me know, and we can take it from there.
