Medication for thyroid goiter

Some years ago, my mother used to suffer from Thyroid goiter problem. She was very annoyed to have that enlarged Thyroid goiter gland on her neck. She did not want to do a surgery coz one of her friend died while doing surgery. She has been on the net to find a better solution to her thyroid problem and she came across synthroid (cytomel t4). After taking synthroid for a couple of months, she noticed that her thyroid goiter was disappearing little by little. Some months later, she noticed that her thyroid gland has disappeared and she proud of the medication she used. She did rely on that medication and it was effective.
