Contributed by markedeloy on Tuesday, November 30 @ 09:06:29 EST

November 30, 2004 -- In a small Tennessee town, at the height of the Great Depression, a madman, who the papers are calling the Scarecrow, is hunting children.

Sheriff John Grant, realizing that he is over his head, calls upon the help of a friend from his days as a Chicago street cop.

Dr. Benjamin "Bones" Dyer is an old black doctor, who in his youth had a powerful gift. He was able to see the dead. In his old age, his gift has faded, and nearly disappeared, but as he travels south to help his friend, his gift is returning.

Just as Benjamin arrives, two more girls are taken and Benjamin begins to see the spirits of the Scarecrow's victims, even as their decapitated bodies are being left at crossroads and sitting in orchards.

The Ghosts of Silence is a non-stop thrill ride that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
