Cary Family Dental Helps Raise 25 Million Dollars for Childrens Charities

Dr. Allan Acton and staff raise over $7,500 during four-month campaign

CARY, NC – This spring and summer, as part of the Crown Council’s Annual Smiles for Life campaign, Cary Family Dental offered teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to help children facing serious health and educational problems. The 11th Annual Smiles for Life campaign has now raised more than $25 million to help children’s charities here at home and around the world. During the four-month campaign, Dr. Allan Acton and Cary Family Dental raised $7,570. Half of the funds raised were contributed to Triangle Downs Syndrome Network for use within the local community. The other half of the funds were contributed to the Garth Brooks’ Teammates For Kids Foundation for use in health, education, and inner city programs that benefit children. Dr. Acton and Cary Family Dental have participated in Smiles for Life for four years and have raised over $32,000. “We had a great campaign this year and would like to thank everyone in the community who came out and helped make it a success by purchasing whitening services during our campaign,” explains Dr. Acton, a Crown Council dentist. “It has been great seeing the beautiful smiles of our patients after performing whitening services—but it is even better to see the smiles on the faces of the children our contributions are helping to support.” The Smiles for Life Foundation is the children’s charity organization of the Crown Council, an organization of leading-edge dentists throughout North America.
