The Institute of IT Training (IITT) has set in motion this year’s IITT
awards – the institute’s fifth annual awards. With entries having
to be received by 31st October, Colin Steed, the IITT’s chief executive,
is expecting an even larger number of entries than last year’s record.
“It is good to know of the increasing number of high quality projects
and programmes that are being undertaken in this industry and that are reaching
the public domain through the IITT awards,” Steed said. “Each year,
the awards’ judges are impressed by the high quality of the entries and,
hopefully, this year will be no exception.”
This year, there are 11 award categories – with open learning centre
of the year being included for the first time. The entries shortlisted fro the
awards will be decided by mid-December and the award winners will be announced
at a ceremony at The Dorchester, in Park Lane, London, on 3rd February next
year.
This year, there is no charge for entries. As ever, entrants may enter any
number of categories - but they may only enter once for each category.
