With increasing concerns over transport safety for international students Capital School of English, a leading language school in Bournemouth, has committed its programme of day trips and transfers to Excelsior Coaches.

"English language learning isn’t just about days spent in the classroom, it also involves getting the students out and about and enjoying the English culture and heritage and with that comes its own responsibilities. Safety is always key to day trips and excursions that is why Capital School of English in Bournemouth has renewed our commitment to transporting our students, whether it’s on a day trip or on a group transfer from the airport, using Excelsior Coaches. We know all their coaches have been ‘risk assessed’ which, as an accredited British Council School, is very important. Also in comparison to a lot of companies Excelsior’ Coaches fleet is modern and comfortable, however, it’s not just about the vehicles it’s the level of service they offer to us and our students, we have never worked with a coach operator who has come close. It gives me piece of mind that from the moment our students are collected they experience the same levels of service we offer them at the school, and it’s first impressions that count in this business" explained Spencer Fordham, Managing Director, Capital School.

Kathy Tilbury, Managing Director, Excelsior continues "We are delighted that Capital School of English has made their decision to renew their contract with Excelsior Coach Hire, and already they have enjoyed their first few successful day trips. With a fleet of 24 modern coaches – all now fully LEZ compliant, and 9 vehicles being 2008 registrations including 3 three new Volvo B12Bs with Sunsundegui bodywork, and six new long wheel based Volvo Plaxtons, as part of a drive to expand our fleet due to business growth. We are very pleased that Capital has decided to lead the way again in Bournemouth with this commitment to its programme of excursions and transfers during 2008".

Excelsior has consolidated their position as one of the dominant operators in the region. The company, who boast 85 years’ experience of the coach industry, are one of just 36 operators in the UK to be awarded the prestigious Coach Marque accreditation by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT).
