Books:

A Website with a bite

Contributed by mario5o on Saturday, May 03 @ 18:35:55 EDT

Websites come in all varieties. Some are engaging; others are not. Some are newly designed providing only a smattering of information; others are well established and may present a wealth of knowledge. Some are designated to entertain; others may be technical and dry but still serve a need no doubt.

Mario S. Fedele has a well established website—set up in 2004—which is a pleasant mix of the above.
Here is the link: www.freewebs.com/mario5o

Once there, being that Mr. Fedele is a writer, you'll find some fine excerpts from three of the books he has to his credit.
Two are works of fiction intended for Young Adults and are titled, "Stories for a Stormy Night, Vol. 1 & II."
They've been favorably received and well reviewed.
These are a few of the comments they've garnered:

"[Mr. Fedele] makes storytelling seem easy!"
>>>Chris Bartholomew
"[Mr. Fedele's work] is extraordinary and beautifully crafted! His characters come alive and his sense of purpose is powerful, made so by his disciplined writing style!"
>>>Samia Muqueem
"Mr. Fedele, you are as talented as J.K. Rowling!"
>>>Tessie Chapman

His third book, a memoir titled "God's Gift," concerns his son who was diagnosed with Stickler's syndrome and is a heart-wrenching story of the medical, learning, and behavioral problems he faced.
It has been received extremely well and the reviews have been astounding.
Here are some sample comments:

"My copy of 'God's Gift' has changed hands so many times I've lost track of it! Good things are always worth sharing."
>>>Christy Prescott
"I predict that 'God's Gift' will be on Oprah's recommended book list one day soon."
>>>James Shepherd
"I hope you don't mind but I emailed Oprah about your book, 'God's Gift.' It truly helped my daughter and me!"
>>>Debbie Brogdon

In visiting Mr. Fedele's website, you'll have a chance to read the reviews in full. But, so much more awaits.
You'll be both amused and touched by some of the wonderful children's stories he's written, one of which is fully illustrated.
In addition, there's a helpful link page for the medical conditions mentioned in his memoir that allows one to learn more about them and thereby expand their knowledge.
You'll also find a bio page to uncover a few tidbits about Mr. Fedele, a fun page to provide entertainment, a freebie page that directs one to free goodies, and a web store to do some shopping while you're there.

So, do drop in at www.freewebs.com/mario5o and you'll be pleasantly rewarded with a very entertaining and worthwhile learning experience.
