The international industrial and construction trade portal for North America, UK and Australia, Worldwide Industrial Marketplace, has launched a classifieds marketplace to buy and sell vintage construction machinery and equipment

Boston, MA - Worldwide Industrial Marketplace (WIM), a division of the industrial auction site and B2B trade portal publisher IndustrialSAVER, has completed the transition of a new classifieds marketplace to run in conjunction with its vintage construction equipment auction a Vintage & Construction Equipment Auction. According to Cristina Florian, spokeswoman for the company, the site includes offerings for a variety of antique construction equipment and heavy machinery such as farm and construction tractors, earthmoving equipment, drills, trailers and other hauling equipment, trucks, trenchers, crawlers, loaders as well as vintage construction equipment parts and components. Ms. Florian said most product offerings are from US and Canada based suppliers and private sellers but not limited to North America. Construction companies, equipment dealers and collectors of antique and vintage construction equipment are able to post and explore offerings on the company's industrial classifieds site at at Construction & Industrial Equipment Classifieds. The site accepts free advertisements from those looking to buy or sell a variety of vintage construction equipment as well as new and used modern heavy machinery. According to Florian, the site is designed to enable domestic and international users to contact suppliers or buyers directly through the system and without paying a commission fee on the sale. "The auction on our site serves companies and professionals in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy and Spain wanting to buy or sell vintage construction equipment," says Frank Wallace, Business Director of Worldwide Industrial Marketplace. He added, "Users in all other countries are able to utilize our industrial classifieds site to post and explore offerings for antique construction equipment and virtually all kinds of industrial products." WIM recently arranged a search partnership with the Boston area-based Industrial Search Engine, IndustrialCOOP, which is an international B2B directory filtered for engineers, manufacturers and construction companies seeking to improve their supply chain. According to Mr. Wallace, the relationship with IndustrialCOOP had a significant impact on the number of Worldwide Industrial Marketplace users which Wallace said nearly doubled in size during the first quarter of this year.
