The new subsidiary, Focus Software Solutions Co. Ltd, is only the fourth Indian company to get a fully-owned free hold company license from SAGIA in the Kingdom.
Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, March 31, 2008: Focus Softnet today announced the launch of its subsidiary, Focus Software Solutions Co. Ltd, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new company, which has the honour of being only the fourth Indian company to secure a freehold company license in the Kingdom, will cater to government, semi-government and large corporations across the Kingdom.
“The launch of Focus Software Solutions carries lot of significance for us as it will consolidate our operations and expansion plans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” explained Mr. Jawad Ali Khan, Chief Operations Officer – Sales at Focus Softnet. “The new subsidiary will allow us to expand, manage and control our operations better, since we are 100 percent foreign-owned company. We are investing heavily in expanding our resources and infrastructure in the Kingdom to meet the growing demand for our solutions. We have a customer base of over 2000 all over Saudi Arabia satisfactorily using our ERP and business solutions and with the new company formation and huge investments we are doing in Kingdom, our customers are assured of our commitment to serve them better.”

This has, in turn, tremendously increased the demand for our mid range ERP solutions, Focus RT and Focus on Web in the market. The new company will make every effort in meeting the market demand,” added Khan.
According to Mr. Nisith Naik, COO – Projects, the new company will allow Focus Softnet to qualify for any size of project in IT, thus opening innumerable opportunities in Saudi to target huge corporations such as Aramco, Sabic, Sceco and projects from various ministries. “We have plans for at least $10 million in projects for 2008. We are currently in process of registering our company as preferred vendor in these enterprises,” added Mr. Naik.
Mr. Ali Hyder, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Softnet, highlighted that new company will also consider having joint ventures with foreign companies wanting to come to Saudi Arabia and could not come because of complex procedures for establishing the companies. “We can provide them with a ready platform to start their operations under our company and they can leverage on our established name and image in the market. Foreign companies will be able to invest in our company to target their specific work areas and industry verticals,” explains Mr. Hyder. “We are looking at having Joint Ventures in software security, networking solutions, system integration or any solution that we identify as having huge potential in KSA, allowing our valued customers to have access to almost all IT solutions and services from one company,” added Mr. Hyder.
