Bothell, Washington — February 11th, 2008 — Magical Mystery Troupe, the only provider of comedic murder mysteries on the Eastside of Seattle, today announced it has been asked to audition at some of Bellevue’s finest restaurants, like Angelo's, Luciano's and Maggiano's. Magical Mystery Troupe provides really funny shows with audience interactive participation. This is entertainment to customers in a variety of comedic style dinner shows. Currently performing “Marry Me Medieval” which is a hilarious romp without a murder in it. It is perfect for Valentine’s Day entertainment. The last show at Mia Roma’s is on February 23rd, 2008, due to Mia Roma's Italian Restaurant losing it's lease on their banquet facility. Magical Mystery Troupe has more than 500 regular mystery theater customers who always come to the shows. “We have performed more that 9 different dinner shows. We just keep on adding to our troupe in ways we never dreamed about: people, good interactive plays and a loyal audience.” "Magical Mystery Troupe has experienced immense success over the last few years due to the exponential growth of patrons looking for a great and inexpensive evening out at a wonderful neighborhood family restaurant like Mia Roma’s Italian Restaurant in Bothell”, states founder Jody Montague. “This has really changed Kenmore, as it was not known for any kind of dinner theater type entertainment. Magical Mystery Troupe is the non-theater goers’ first experience with going to a ticketed show other than Las Vegas. We do a lot with audience participation. We love it when the audience brings their wacky playfulness to the evening. It ignites something in the actors; the shows take on their own identity. We use a lot of David Landry’s materials as he invented this type of interactive dinner theater. We started out with “The Alto’s, Just like the Sopranos, only Lower” and then we moved on to “Bullets For Broadway”, and next we are looking to do “Killing Mr. Withers”, an Alfred Hitchcock styled comedy with musical numbers too!! This will be really funny and a bit more intelligent for a more sophisticated audience in Bellevue.” Instead of cumbersome, costly drive-time and parking in downtown Seattle to pay close to $100.00 per ticket, Magical Mystery Troupe charges between $32.00 and $47.00 per ticket and gives the audience a 3 course meal. Price is determined by the Restaurant. What else gives you as much fun and food for that price? The Mystery train was $80.00 per ticket. Magical Mystery Troupe uses the power of the internet to give customers dates, times and cost of the shows and what the story line is. MMT is available for private parties and fundraisers as well as regular shows for driving new business into banquets rooms in Bellevue. The result is better entertainment for the money, with better location, free parking, and fantastic food.
