Atherton, California, November 28, 2007— Fine art photographer Marc Silber announced today that he has added his work to Saatchi Online Gallery (www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk), recently ranked by Alexa.com on their “Mover & Shaker” list of tops sites on the internet.
Silber’s work covers a full range, from environmental portraits to natural landscapes and abstracts, which can be seen at www.silberstudios.com. Silber said “I am happy to join forces with Saatchi as they have made such a contribution to the art world by including emerging artists from around the world. As an established artist myself, I wanted to add my support.”
Silber who has been a fine art photographer since the early 60s has recently appeared in “Photowalking Above Silicon Valley” made popular by Robert Scoble of Podtech. Silber also released a free ebook on his site www.silberstudios.com/blog. He said, “in our advancement of the internet—what we refer to as ‘web 2.0’—being in touch with both those who love art as well as those who want to improve their art is so vital. It’s all about that connection. I believe that adding my work to Saatchi will expand that connection.”
Marc Silber is a fine art photographer, living on the San Francisco Peninsula with his wife, children and retriever “Whitney” (named for the mountain, which they have climbed.) He has an extensive catalog of black and white photographs as well as color photographs taken around the world on his many adventures. He is passionate about photography, loves to show his work and to teach photography. “Photography has given me a way to continuously see life newly.
