A Psalm For Odom-Booker Entertainment
Los Angeles (2/23/06) -- Odom-Booker Entertainment has just begun lensing their faith-based pic “The 23rd Psalm”.
The cast includes former world-class track stars turned actors, Arnita Champion and Carlton Bembry, as well as Mister Jones (“The Riff”, “Jacked”).
“The 23rd Psalm” is about a psychic Christian detective who must renew his faith when he must solve the murder of a prostitute rumored to have been saved one month prior and blessed with the ability to heal.
Shot in High Def on the brand new JVC GY-HD100U 720/24p HDV camcorder, helmers Christopher C. Odom and Cornelius Booker III, wanted to be among the first to shoot on this new edition to the JVC HDTV family.
Written and directed by Christopher C. Odom (“How To Make It In Hollywood Before You Make It”) and Cornelius Booker III (“Maggie & Annie”) “The 23rd Psalm” is an edgy neo noir faith-based story.
Inspired by the film “Crash”, scribe Christopher C. Odom penned a story that crashes religious stereotypes.
Over the next 3 years, the Odom-Booker Entertainment shingle will release 12 faith-based features for theatrical and Direct to DVD release.
