Finding a Good Driving Instructor
23 June 2008 – With the increasing population comes the increasing number of vehicles along the roads.
With that becoming a major problem in Britain, one car hire price comparator is trying to help the country by conducting a survey. Carrentals.co.uk is raising road safety awareness to drivers by getting more than a thousand of their customers to answer a survey they have prepared. The survey is aimed at helping drivers become aware of good driving skills by thinking of their ideal good driving instructor to teach them. The company’s objective is to open up the driver’s road safety awareness by participating in the survey. According to the male respondents, they prefer to have Natasha Kaplinsky, the Channel 5 newscaster, to be their driving instructor. Of courser, there were other favourites. The older men aging from 25 to 44 preferred Kylie Minogue. It was the younger male drivers from 17 to 24 years of age who chose Sharon Osborne as their favorite driving teacher. What seems to surprise a lot was that Jordan or Katie Price, an English Glamour model, was last on the list. She was beaten by the likes of Jo Brand and Barbara Windsor.
Moving on, it’s not too surprising to find George Clooney on the top of the lady drivers’ list. The male Hollywood celebrity topped most of the age categories. Only those above the age of 55 preferred Sir Trevor MacDonald over Mr. Clooney. On the other hand, other prominent personalities who made it to the list include Sir Richard Branson, Shane Richie, Peter Kay, and even Simon Cowell. The complete list is shown below.
