Large Georgia Church Selects SLS's Loudspeaker System
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., SLS International (OTC Bulletin Board: SITI - News) announced
today that Piney Grove Baptist Church of Trenton, Georgia has selected and installed
a new SLS Loudspeaker system in its main sanctuary.<
"I'm very excited about using SLS's speakers, but wish we had done so a
long time ago," said Max Woodfin, the Church's audio engineer
of over fifteen years. "I hear things in the high register that I've never
been able to notice before. The overall system gain I'm getting before feedback
occurs is overwhelming. The congregation has also noticed the increased clarity
and definition. You can go anywhere in the Sanctuary and still be well covered
by the system. There are just no dead spots."
The new system was designed, specified and installed by the SRL Company of
Nashville, Tennessee headed up by audio veterans Alan Rumbaugh and George Juodenas
who have been involved in the Nashville studio industry for over twenty-years.
Juodenas who has worked with such industry notables as Warner Brothers, Curb
Records, Emerald Sound Studios, Bradley's Barn, RCA, and the Opryland Music
Group rounds off the talent offered by SRL.
"Before, we were taught all the things about audio, we were taught about
tone," said Mr. Rumbaugh, a University of Tennessee Music Graduate. "That's
what dictates a good system. Before you analyze all the other aspects, you look
at tone. This is what we hear in SLS Loudspeakers that is lacking
in so many other systems. We are currently working on several new projects where
we are utilizing the SLS ribbon technology and are very glad to be affiliated
with such breakthrough technology."
"SRL does a wonderful job of communicating the unique features and benefits
of our technology," said Jeff Lowry Director of Marketing. "They not
only have a good grasp of the public address system design and installation
process but are keenly aware of where the product lies in the current home and
pro audio marketplace and what makes ribbon technology so beneficial in modern
day systems. It is rewarding to see SRL as well as other dealers and consultants
so enthusiastic about our technology and so willing to share their excitement
with others."
