Retailer's order for Tri-Xanthin(TM) Expected to Lead to Significant Sales Increase
Health Sciences Group, Inc. (OTCBB:HESG), an integrated provider of innovative products and services to the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and cosmeceutical industries, today announced that its QBI division has recently received an order from a leading national retail chain for Tri-Xanthin(TM), the Company's proprietary weight loss product. QBI has also been receiving product orders from existing customers for its Tri-Xanthin(TM) formulation.
"Although we only began selling Tri-Xanthin(TM) in the fourth quarter last year, we've already begun to see a surge in demand," said Joe Schortz, CEO of QBI. "Sales have been rapidly exceeding our sales forecast. Now, with the most recent order placed by a national retail chain, we're quite confident that we have a winning product on our hands that offers a unique alternative to weight loss products available today."
Tri-Xanthin(TM) has the ability to boost the body's natural fat burning process by delivering the exact amount of its three key components derived from standardized extracts of green tea, cocoa beans and the mate leaf. Ephedra was the most popular non-prescription ingredient for weight loss supplements and food products until it was banned last December, creating a considerable demand for safe ephedra-free alternatives. Tri-Xanthin(TM) offers similar weight loss properties of ephedra but without the adverse side effects.
"We see a tremendous market opportunity for this product," said Allan Himmelstein, President of QBI. "The demand for weight loss products is growing every day. Having a safe and efficacious product like Tri-Xanthin(TM) can easily translate into increased sales for us as major distributors and retailers begin stocking their shelves to meet the growing demand. We're excited about prospects for Tri-Xanthin(TM)."
