Beta Records, the fastest-growing international network and community of music artists and fans, announced today that it will partner with Surroundphones Holdings Inc, (SoundWave360) in a move that will allow artists to upgrade their MP3 music files with a proprietary process giving their music a more dimensional, cleaner and more dynamic presentation at a cost much lower than for traditional audio mastering.
"We know that recording professionals are pleased at the idea of higher quality MP3 files and that this new SoundWave360 breakthrough will help every BETA Records artist stand out in the music marketplace," notes Chris Honetschlaeger, BETA President.
The SoundWave360 process uses a number of mastering techniques along with a series of processes created by Founder and Chairman, Paul Gilman. The files will then be available for use for download, broadcast, stream or hard goods retaining the encoded dynamics in all distribution models.
With recording professionals decrying the low quality of MP3 files, the new encoding process creates more analog sound with cleaner dynamics, higher signal-to-noise ratio and more depth in playback, particularly in the portable headphone environment.
"While working on our premium process using stems and master tracks, I discovered I could align a number of the pieces of the process to apply it to MP3s as well as stereo mixes and WAV files," Gilman states. "We are proud to be offering this service to Beta Records' artists as we see them as being the leaders in the next model for the music business."
